During the 1950s and '60s the sign of quality was a wood veneer dash. The "Rokee" brand had established themselves as the quality leader during the heyday of the Mini. These mass produced dashes were made for every model of the Mini. The MKI, MKII and MK3 Mini were almost identical, the only major difference being the air ventilator holes in the MK3. The 3 piece dash is easy to install and looks great. Our new Mini Mania (Rokee style) burlwood dash takes all the best features of the original and makes them better with air vent holes. We use only the highest quality wood veneer; the color is fantastic and the grain on the three pieces matches. Available for the Mini with the center 3 instruments as found on the "Deluxe" MKI & MKII with the added feature of holes for air vents. Maybe darker than  what is shown .

Question:
I bought one of these a few years ago and am finally putting it in my full rebuilt 1968 classic mini sedan .it has no instructions and I can’t work out where it and how it fits in do you have instructions or can you help please?
Answer:
The middle panel is fixed over the instrument binnacle and the two side panels are fixed to this with wing nuts that are accessed through the gloveboxes.  The outside edges of the side panels are fixed to the door frames with small metal brackets and self-tappers.  These are then covered with the strips of trim cloth that tuck under the door seal and neaten up the edges.

Question:
Will this fit a 1991 Rover Mini that has the center dash?
Answer:
Hello,
I think those dashes can be made to fit any year Mini, yes.

Customer Follow-up Question:
It looks like it has two glove compartments? What do you do to make it have only one on the correct side?

Mini Mania Response:
You don't. It's like the earlier Morris Minors that had a glove box behind the steering wheel, too. That's just the way they're designed.

Customer Follow-up Question:
How does it get installed? Can anybody do it?

Mini Mania Response:
I would think anyone could install these dashes. They come with brackets - I don't believe fitting them is terribly difficult or time consuming.
