Electronic ignition upgrade kit for your 25D distributor as found in most early Mini & Mini Coopers. This kit includes a Pertronix Ignitor module that replaces the stock mechanical points, a new matching Pertronix 3ohm coil and a set of high performance 8mm spark plug wires from Ultrik.
(Must use the top entry distributor cap)

"Fixed Point" electronic ignition conversion. The two best features of the new Pertronix Ignitor electronic ignition conversion kit are the low price and the fact that it fits entirely inside your stock distributor cap! (Negative ground only!) All previous ignition kits utilized an external black box, not the sort of thing you want under the hood of your stock-looking engine compartment! And, like the more expensive electronic ignition kits, once you install the magnetic trigger and sensor, you will never have to change points again! Also, available for early, 23/25D Negative Ground (LU142) or early 23/25D Positive Ground (LU142/POS) distributors.

While it's the perfect coil to go with the PerTronix Ignitor breakerless ignition, the new 40,000 volt Flame-Thrower can benefit virtually any distributor type induction system. For one thing, the higher voltage allows larger spark plug gaps for added power, smoother response and better fuel economy.

3.0 ohm for unballasted systems.

Choose from chrome (40501)or OEM black (40511), they're oil filled for better cooling and voltage insulation; or get the epoxy version (40611) of the Flame-Thrower when extreme vibration is a factor.

So if my Traveller has a negative post grounded to the body does that mean I have a negative ground vehicle? Assume this to be the case but want to make sure, thanks
As long as the battery negative terminal goes to ground then yes.

Lots of cars are converted to negative ground even if they once were positive ground.
