if the finish is tight to the wood, yes, you could wax it. Assuming you've got an exterior clear finish on it. once waxed, if you needed to recoat the wood, you'd need to get that wax off completely. What clear did you use? I like Epiphane.

My father made the wood trim for both my Countryman and my Traveller back in '04 and '05 and we sprayed them with several coats of marine varnish and they still look exactly like they did back then. I have never treated them at all. Rand

Just wondering what to use on the rear wood trim. Wax it like the rest of the car or? The wood finish on it is in excellent condition and would like to keep it that way.
