Here are some very 'typical' numbers from the following upgrades:
intake = 3 - 5 hp
exhaust = 8 - 10 hp
chip = 20 - 30 hp
Your result may vary.

Sorry, CAI=cold air induction. Much more bang for the buck than changing the exhaust.

CAI? i was looking at cat back exhausts but they can get pretty pricey...i don't need to pass emissions inspections where i live

If you're looking for more of a sound upgrade than a jump in hp, I would suggest a CAI. It will add a nice throaty note when you stomp on the gas, but shouldn't be very noticeable when cruising. Another advantage is that you don't need to remove it to pass emission/smog testing.

The only downside is that these products will not pass CA emissions. Other owners spend a few minutes to remove them before testing if necessary.
I can tell you that we sell more of the G2NME4010 by almost a 2:1 margin.

The 'simplest' and more effective upgrade for more power are these ECU power modules:

Intake and exhaust upgrades are the typical upgrades, but you get more hp/$$ with one of the chips listed above.
