Most all the power in SW Florida comes from fossil fuels, unless you've got your own solar array to recharge the car vehicle electrification accomplishes nothing there.

Yeah, BC has them in North Carolina, MonteCarloMini. Why drive electric when you can have gas and go fast enough to drive anywhere?

Why go electric at 30 mph when you can easily go 60 mph in a brand new Moke? They are available in the US. Not cheap but new and reliable.

More would be perfect for exploring the back roads of the everglades, but have to go 60 MPH to get there.

There's a few places to rent the electric MOKE around Naples and Marco Island. I thought about renting one, but probably won't. This guy bought his. He has a new Bentley Convertible in the garage too, but prefers to drive the MOKE on the island. The fastest speed limit on Marco Island is 35, so the MOKE is perfect. Really nice looking car too. Seems to be well built.
