Hello everyone! I have not been here in a while, but am looking for a Mk III or later resto-mod now.  I saw that moke, that sold for 50 grand, if that's the one I am thinking about from BAT.

How about this beach mini for $230 large, Ho-Lee F#@k!!!

Dr Mini displaying his ignorance again.

Most Oz Mokes had little wheels as big wheels didn't come along for about 10 years....

I would suggest most Moke aficionados didn't own one from new.  They're great fair weather toys but the girls hated getting their nickers wet trying to clamber over the side pods if there was any dampness about....

Try driving one to work each day... the novelty wears off.

Cheers, Ian

The red S did $44k but the reserve was not met.
Based on last weeks sale of a nowhere near as nice S for $35k it should have fetched $50k plus.

Sure took off in a hurry. Sold for $50,500USD ($61K CDN). Malsal was the closest. Quite impressive.
The red '65 Cooper'S' went for $44K. I was good on that prediction.

This is a time when a CDN wishes the currency conversion wasn't getting closer to par. Still should add on a nice little chunk though just with that factor.

I say mid to high $30Ks. No big surprise that it beat the other white Leyland Moke by $10K so far. Doing pretty good for a car flyin the red, white and no-blue flag. Ata boy!

Oh I wish I liked these ugly little ba$tards. ( won't be able to afford this one I'm sure anyway...lol )
This would be a good one.....and no hassles with licence etc, could just drive over to SK and slap a plate on it.

Neck in neck with the other higher mileage, less attractive, newer and underpowered white Moke right now. Dead heat at $12,500. The red '67 has 6 more days left of the race to go though. Will that red Moke poke ahead and soak that other joke of a Moke with an egg yolk while smokin a toke, in front of lots of folk, for the win? Stay tuned.
Nice little new addition on BAT also, with the numbers matching '65 Cooper'S'. I'd say that one will go for the high $30K's - low $40K's range.
Good times for the Minis

It works.
Years ago i was told a mechanical fan can use up to 3 or 4 hp so i did remove my fan when i lived in the UK, admittedly it was nowhere near as hot as Florida but i have a friend who has been running his 1275 Mini with the radiator mounted to the inner fender/wing and an electric fan for 20 years plus with no issues.
When you are driving with no stopping a Mini has enough airflow and does not need a fan on level roads to stay cool but having the electric back up is a good idea.

Yeah, I'm interested in seeing what happens to it. Very clean and crisp. Nice job done. The only thing is that Canadian vehicles don't usually seem to do so hot on BAT, versus if they were to be sold within the States. Maybe because people on the south side get too nervous about the border transfer and such. Pretty easy stuff. Should do good if he gets some diehard that knows the process or if some other Canadian wants it.
