I live in Cali and would love to get a classic mini but with the requirements that you cannot register a post - 74 car, the pool of available cars is small. I saw, however, that it is possible to register out of state cars in Vermont. I am thinking of buying mid to late 80's cooper, register it in Vermont while living and driving in Cali. Is this feasible and has anyone had experience with something like this before? Interested in thoughts and feedback.
Cheers!
