Years (now i see the picture date - almost 10 Years ago) I made a few on my own to a total of 3 for local friends.

Wood Slats + Frame all welded up,  they got better each version.

Where are you located?   Shipping gets pretty rough on these  due to size and weight.  I never worked to develop a 'packable' unit.

Material costs also are not insignifigant.   ( Oak slats - stain - rivnuts - stainless hardware + Steel)

I would re make one or two if really interested = figure about 500$ per each rack + shipping.

Reach out if interested.

I found one that I like. Its a Vulcan roof rack made by Eversure Accessories in England. It has a 50s Art Deco look. I added the ash slats.

hey i have a 1973 mini clubman and i want to put a roof rack on my car but i want to keep it with the vintage look and not just the two cross bars but an actual rack/cage. are there places that still sell them? ive been trying to look but no luck.
