mine is RHD with a Bill Richards engine

+1 on a wet 68 Wolseley 1000. Exact same configuration.

One thing that I didn't mention is that the bracket layout is because my car still retains it's 'proper' RHD. LHD I guess would be different? Being an ex police car, many people bought them for racing/rallying as I guess they either wanted a car with a 'S' engine or they believed that police car engines had extra power. Simon Wheatcroft of the MCR and MKIII registrar was associated with at least one prior owner and knew it was raced in the '90s and maybe before. so your car was gl. white and it had a red respray?

I restored my ex-Liverpool police '71 Cooper 'S" as original as I knew how, so whether I got it right is up for debate. The car when I bought it was Tartan Red. The welded on bracket for the engine steady on the right and the clutch pipe on the left is body color, Glacier white. The bracket attached underneath that the engine steady bolt goes through on the right, the clutch pipe to the left and the hydro hose goes thru to the far left is painted black. On the front downward side between the clutch/hydro openings has the 3-way brake pipe attached. Randy

Is the bracket/tab located under the top of the clutch hose that also carries the hydrolastic hose painted the body color of the car or is it black? This is a MK 3  wet car I'm asking about.
