This was on the Beach Boys Moke that sold a while back. I took this photo July 2017. It originally belonged to Tom Hutchins, who did the work on Minisota for me in the 90s, in Deland Fl.

Sounds correct as my Pennsylvania destination 65 Moke does not have it.

According to the Heritage certificate the destination dealer was in Compton, Calif.

That is a USA item-from the state of California.  When cars were sold new there they had these tags attached by the dealer showing the manufacturer and year model.  Many British cars of that era had them-so now you can say you have a California car!

This plastic tag was under the VIN plate rivet on the 1966 moke I am redoing. Is this a factory or maybe a USA thing? Thought I would ask before riveting back on the painted body.
