Yes....this is understood...... Travellers AND Countryman were built in Longbridge.....but, should a Traveller still have a Cowely tag?

Quite common...  I have one too.

Almost 60 years of assiduous cleaning will do things like that.

Interestingly, my 63 Traveller just had a VIN tag with the VIN number only in reverse stamp. No screen printed info. Just Vin # on blank, correctly shaped plate. I always thought this was the original tag but ...

Yes....that's why I ask the question.  Wasnt sure if the tag should be different as Morris Travellers were built in Longbridge.

Cowley = Morris Traveller.

Longbridge = Austin Countryman.
