Correct, they are Rovers. Also, by the way, they will be available once I make the switch to 13s over the winter.

I bought 12 X 6 negative offset wheels many years ago never had them near the mini. It has a deep dish possibly 1 1/2 to 2 inches. I like the looks of them. They don't look anything like veggivet wheels which look like regular rover wheels.

If you have deeper dish negative offset 13" wheels, it may help after all. I'd hate to have to start another thread of "Show me your 13 inches!" Although, I think I may be more successful with responses, as there seems to be more people running 13's after modifying their car, than 12's.
In the event that the 12's don't work out, which sizing of 13's are you running? Both in the way of width like 13x6 or 13x7, and as well as the offset sizing.
It's not my first preference to have to go to 13's, but if it makes more sense, I'd like to know which 13 to go with.
And as well, which arches do you have?
Maybe some photos too if you don't mind, so I have a reference to go by. Especially one showing down the side of the car so I can see how they sit, either inside, or outside of the arches or flush with them.
Sorry if I'm being too particular. Just trying to do the homework before I spring for wheels and find out they don't give me what I'd like.
Thanks

Simple recipe for Excitement:  Take 1 Classic Mini. Throw in 1590cc's of engine. Add 5 gears. A dash of 94 octane. A sprinkle of style inside and out. Toss in 1 MadMan and finally heat tires and pavement to taste. Recipe produces 1 Mini VTEC conversion and full satisfaction. Motor on!

While it’s no fun waiting for the info you want, I have 13” so no use to you, there are connection issues with this site at the moment.

Yes, I'm sure the 10's would be more smooth due to the extra sidewall rubber and such. But I just don't like the look of them being that small.
With 10's, would you be able to run the same size brake kit as you would with 12's though?
Anyone else out there running a deep dish negative offset 12 inch wheel with SportPack style arches, that can help me out please? Or does anyone know of someone else that can be contacted for info and/or photos of their set up?
I'd like to order some wheels but just don't know which to go with until I can get a better idea of fitment.
I'm on hot standby here.
Thanks

In my experience of mini ownership, the 10 inch wheel gives a better ride than 12s and the 145 / 70 / 12 is better than the 165 / 60 /12.  No experience with 13s. My mini is my only car and I'm looking for some comfort.

Of course, looks are important but if it's a show car then you're not driving it around that much. Go for the 13s

Thanks.
But what offset are those? Doesn't look like it would be anything in the negative range for offsets. If I used those with aftermarket arches, they'd be tucked in under the arches for sure.
I'm planning on a Zeemax body kit. So the flares would be something similar to the SportsPack (I think that's what they're called. I'm still new to this) size.
So I'd want the wheels and tire combo to stick out more.

Wheels that is.

I am trying to decide on either the 12x6 wheels or the 13x7 wheels.

I'm trying to steer away from the 13's as they will be heavier in the unsprung weight category, and will result in a rougher ride apparently due to the lower profile rubber than the higher cushier sidewalls on the 12's.

I'm leaning more towards the 12x6 MiniLights with the -7mm offset.

But what I'm trying to see, is the side view profile of the 12x6 wheels, and how much they come out with the arches on the car. I know that there are lots of different sized arches out there. So please specify which arches that you have also, and what offset you have on the wheels please.

I'd like the wheels and tires to be close to flush with the outer edge of the arches. Not sure if the 12's would be up to that, or if I have to go to the 13's to achieve it.

And I'd rather not use wheel spacers along with the 12's, as that would defeat the purpose of saving weight.

Thanks in advance for any light that you can shed.
