It sounds like we are talking about the 1st gen R53 / R52 Cooper S.

Anyone made their own?

Mice have taken I liking to the foam I used to seal my GRS diverter to the cooler, so I'm looking for another solution.

For info, with the seal I was able to get the intake temps down to 1 to 2 set above ambient, without the seals it takes ages to get down to 6 Deg over ambient.

I'm wanting to make/have something made which attaches directly to the cooler, rather than the bonnet/back of the scoop, kinda like a shroud or two to force air through the cooler.

Anyone done similar?

Found a few old pics from NM which looked like a louvred domestic grille placed over the top, but it didn't look to me like it would divert enough air as the louvres were small.

I know the blue rooster had something similar to what I'm wanting, but that was a bit too racecar.
