if you're paying someone to do all the work for you, it would likely be cheaper to buy one that someone else has done already. Look here on Cars for sale. There's always a few Vtec conversions.  My personal feeling is that is doesn't make the car 'better' and it's a bit difficult to handle all that power when driving.

You likely won't get a lot of positive "help" here on going the VTEC route.

Advice:
1: Do LOTS of research.
2: Do EVEN MORE research.
3: If at all possible, find someone who has done it, look at and drive one.

Go here to ask questions, look at other's builds and educate yourself. >>>> https://www.16vminiclub.com/

Go here to see how the pros do it (and what they charge).>>>>

I am looking at doing up my Leyland Mini 1976. I am looking at a full body sandblast, weld and repaint. I am also looking at putting in a Vtec motor.
My main question has any others done this and what the cost of doing this would be. I know prices will vary but just looking at a ball park to put aside.
I am in Western Australia so if someone could help.
