I narrowly missed this very act, but it was many moons ago. Around 1981 or 1982 in NJ/Delaware. There was some big truckers strike and folks were tossing bricks from overpasses onto (primarily) 18-wheelers below (scab truckers, iirc), but cars were being hit too. We saw some folks up there but were never hit.
Wish I still had that car. 1974 Toyota Celica GT. Was a rust bucket but ran like a scalded cat.

If i see anyone standing on a bridge above the lane i am in i try to switch lanes if possible, there are just way too many instances of this happening.

This same thing happen on I 75 in rural Michigan a couple of years ago, killed the driver and several teenagers ruined their lives as well. Really glad you are ok, just such a senseless act.

I-90 just west of Spokane WA. What makes me the maddest is they really could’ve hurt my daughter. $250 later we are good to go.

We were driving down the freeway at 7 this morning to go kayaking. All of a sudden we heard a big smack. Some A*** had thrown a rock from the overpass and hit us square in the front windshield. No one was hurt but since I have the rock it was about the size of a small football. Please beware.
