I have, what I think are, the old style ones installed....always worried about losing them......not much seems to hold them in

Those are the new style ones.
I don't think the old style ones are available anymore.

went to John Brown but can't find Mamba centre caps. I see the wheels but the caps on those are wrong.

Can't help, but wheel centre caps look like a good candidate for 3D printing. Would be simple to do if one had an original to 3D scan.
