The block flange is tapped so the nuts are redundant and some of the bolts look way too long. Are they 1/4"?

I did find the bolts for the clutch cover to flywheel housing.
I expected the gearbox to block to more complicated based upon this kit I located on MS - MSSK060.

Attempting to “test” assemble my 66S engine to see what parts I may be missing.
trying to understand the proper placement of screws, bolts and lock tabs required for the following :
  -  gearbox to block
  -  flywheel housing to block
  -  clutch cover to flywheel housing

Most diagrams do not show quite enough detail to make this easy!

Drove it.  Missed seeing a pothole underneath an overpass and slammed into it.  I think I might have broken something....
Edit; Hit hard enough to flex the fan into the radiator, making scary sounds.  A check of suspension parts, tires, wheels was fine.  Got lucky.
Edit;  Upon further review, found the right motor mount broken.  No longer so lucky.

Got this idea from an old mini magazine. Added a boot board to my mini. They make boot board brackets for 165 size tires. Then used an old suitcase to carry my jack & tools and whatever. Looks much better now.

I added a roof rack to my S-ified Woody Traveller. I've always wanted a Pedro Sainz roof rack but couldn't find one. I stumbled on the one shown made by Eversure Accessories Ltd., Old Hill, Staffordshire with a more than appropriate 50s Art Nouveaux look. I bead blasted it and had it re-finished in grey powder coat. I added ash slats to match the body wood. I recently used it to carry home a 3x8 lattice from the lumber store.

Removed both bumpers, treated rust and back-painted with rust encapsulator and hammerite, then replaced all the bumper bolts with nice new heavy chromed bolts and nylocs. Now waiting for a couple parts to re-hose my remote master cylinder reservoirs.

Got my axle re-installed, this time with the circlip.  Replaced front/rear brakes pads/shoes.  Then blew the exhaust gasket on the way to the British swap meet in Portland.  icked up a new/better one at Jet Motors on the way home.  It goes in today.

Put the summer wheels & summer brakes on it, lowered it a tad, washed the windows.  Took it for a quick jaunt, returned to the garage just as it started snowing.  

I'm pulling the LR hub tomorrow; it doesn't feel right.  Think I'll change my brake fluid also, if my new tubing fits the EZ-bleed (the bottle has a cracked hose).

The peasants are revolting...

Headed out yesterday to the first British car event of the year in Victoria.. about 6 or 7 Minis from the club I took my GTM. There were a ton of other British cars to enjoy the day, rain held off until almost the end of the event. A great Swap and Shop event, plus showcasing British car clubs and local cars..  Was great to get the GTM out for a drive!

Yesterday packed the wife, 2 Westies and me, plus a picnic lunch, into our Mini....and went for a drive to enjoy lunch on the beach with a bunch of antique and classic car owners. Saw a 600 year old cedar tree in the park there...almost as old as some of the car owners...but it complained a lot less.

Put in new front and rear windshield /window gaskets.  Started in the Fall but then the garage got too cold.  The MiniMania video for this was great.
