Photo Log Part 4 - Mini Mania Crosses America

We were kindly invited by the PhillyMINI Club to join them on their Taste of Britain Road Rallye, All British Car Show, and Polo match (horses!)
Don’s JCW Coupe was back in California so we didn’t have a road ready MINI to drive for the event. Fortunately we were able to rent a red and black MINI...quite suitable for the rallye! We met lots of very fun and interesting people, including past and present Prime MINIsters of the club. The rallye was really well organized...we understand they do quite a few every year. Each of the 30 cars had walkie-talkies, and they were used to alert the followers of turns and road hazards.
The 2+ hour drive along winding Pennsylvania country roads was fabulous. And we had many opportunities to drive around horse and buggies in Amish country!
